Collins Plumbing Inc. was named the top subcontractor for work on the Quechan Casino and Resort. The project included a 166-room hotel, casino floor, restaurants, cafes, pubs, concert venue, and pool with a “lazy river” and on site wastewater treatment plants. After 1 million cubic yards of dirt had been moved, the site could be leveled. In spite of this delay the project was completed 149 days early and $250,000 under budget.
